1. OUR CONTRACT Our website invites You to buy Goods from ourselves being PVC Vertical Blinds. A legally binding contract with You will only arise once PVC Vertical Blinds has received full payment for the Goods from You. We shall notify You of acceptance of Your order by e-mail to the e-mail address given by You in the order form. We regret We cannot accept orders placed by persons located or resident outside of the United Kingdom and Europe.
2. PRICE 2.2 The price for any Goods ordered by You will be the price shown on the order confirmation section of the PVC Vertical Blinds website at the time You place Your order and will include all taxes applicable.
2.3 In addition to the price, a delivery charge may be payable in respect of deliveries made to locations within the UK mainland.
The delivery charge will be that shown on the order confirmation section of the PVC Vertical Blinds website at the time You place Your order.
If there is any change in the delivery charge payable We will notify You before Your order is accepted by Us and ask You to confirm that You wish to proceed with Your order. Delivery to locations outside of the UK mainland will be made only with our prior agreement and additional delivery charges may be payable in that event. If You require delivery outside of the UK mainland, You are advised to contact Us on our main enquiry line or by e-mail in advance of placing Your order.
If there is any change in the delivery charge payable We will notify You before Your order is accepted by ourselves.
3. RIGHT FOR YOU TO CANCEL YOUR CONTRACT 3.1 Subject to clause 3.2, you may cancel your order with us for the goods you order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the date you receive the goods that you have ordered. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your order, the cost of returning the goods is solely your responsibility, the purchaser. To cancel your order you must notify us by e-mail at [email protected] quoting your order reference number.
Any returns MUST have a returns number obtained from PVC Vertical Blinds and written on all the boxes prior to being returned. For any part of goods returned to us for inspection or otherwise, it is the buyer's responsibility and at the buyers cost.
Product images / photographs / item description.
All products we offer are either photographed or digitally produced and are accurately displayed on the website, however, due to different types, styles and settings of various digital devices shading and colour may appear differently to the exact colour. We therefore strongly advise that you request and order a sample prior to placing your order to ensure that you are happy with the colour before ordering.
While every attempt will be made by PVC vertical blinds to ensure that the goods sold and delivered match in every respect any sample or description shown or sent to you, change in colour or pattern between the sample or description and the goods delivered shall not entitle you to reject the goods or to claim any compensation for such variation or change.
Measurements / Measuring guide.
All of the goods we offer are made to your specified sizes. It is your responsibility to take the correct measurements of your window or door. If you are unsure about any products or how to measure please call our customer support team for help before ordering or consult the online measuring guide. You must check the product details and measurements of the goods before placing your order online and you are responsible for checking the order via the email confirmation. As all of our products are made to measure, we cannot accept returns or refunds if you have given us any incorrect measurements.
Made to Measure products.
Made to measure products are custom made to your stated requirements. Once made our products are suitable only to you and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned. Because of this it is extremely important that you are sure about the product that you want and also the size you require. We advise that you take advantage of ordering our samples service before placing an order. We strongly recommend that you double check your order to ensure that the products ordered and measurements taken are 100% correct. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Made to Measure Blind and Headrail products are custom made to your precise requirements. Once made our products are suitable only to you and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are faulty or not made in exact accordance with the Order.
The company and manufacturer has the right to be entitled to rectify any issue with wrong measurements in the event this has been solely caused by ourselves. In the event that we have made a mistake we shall endeavour to put right at our expense with a remanufactured item exactly as originally ordered.
Buyers are responsible for payment of any return of products and using responsible carriers for the return.
Please note that PVC and fabric is cut by highly skilled professionals who will be as accurate as possible within a variance of +/- 1cm. We will not replace the order if the sizes are within this tolerance limit and you will not be entitled to reject the goods.
3.2 You cannot change or cancel your order if the goods you have ordered are Manufactured, Measured or Custom-Made to your Requirements or specifications as these goods will have been made specifically for you and will not be resalable by us.
We regret that once your order has been accepted by us in relation to such goods and entered on our manufacturing process listing we are unable to accept any changes to these goods or cancellation of your order. Because of this it is extremely important that you are sure the product is what you require and the sizes you have given are correct. We strongly recommend that you check your measurements are correct and take advantage of the sample service we provide to ensure the fabric is the colour and specification you require.
3.3 If You have received the Goods before You cancel Your order under clauses 3.1, please contact Us as soon as possible by e-mail at [email protected] quoting your order reference number for guidance on how to pack Your Goods and arrange a suitable time for Us to collect the Goods from You. If You cancel Your contract but we have already processed the Goods for delivery You must not unpack the Goods when they are received by You and You must contact Us as soon as possible by e-mail quoting your order ref number to arrange a suitable time for Us to collect the Goods from You.
3.4 Subject to the provisions of clause 3.2, once You have notified Us that You are cancelling your order, any sum debited to Us from Your bank debit or credit card or through online means as PayPal, will be re-credited to Your account less any price paid by you for a non standard delivery service, subject to clause 3.5, as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of cancellation of Your order provided that the Goods in question are made available for collection from You and received by Us in the condition they were in when delivered to You and have not been modified or subject to misuse or negligence. If You do not make available for collection the Goods delivered to You, We shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the Goods from the amount to be re-credited to You.
3.5 Where the goods are delivered as part of a non standard delivery service, you acknowledge and agree that you have asked us to perform this service before the expiry of the statutory seven day cooling off period. As such in the event you subsequently cancel your order and in pursuant to regulation 13(1)(a) of the consumer protection (distance selling) regulation 2000, you shall have no right to obtain a refund of the price paid for the non standard delivery service.
CANCELLATION BY US
3.6 We reserve the right to cancel Your order if:

3.8 You require delivery outside the United Kingdom; or one or more of the Goods You ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the price quote calculator, information made by Us and/or received by Us from our manufacturing suppliers.
4.0 If We do cancel Your order We will notify You by e-mail and will re-credit to Your account any sum deducted by Us from Your bank, debit or credit card or through PayPal, as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of Your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Guarantee.
PVC vertical blinds offer a 2 year guarantee on manufacturing faults. We reserve the right to either replace or repair the product and it may be necessary to return the goods to us for inspection prior to a replacement product being dispatched.
All PVC vertical blinds products are rigorously quality checked prior to being dispatched, but in the unlikely event that you experience any problems please e-mail us at [email protected] or call our customer support team on 01862 842233 You have 7 days following receipt of your goods to report any damaged or defective goods due to manufacturing, or damage caused while being in the delivery process. We reserve the right to ask for digital pictures with regards to the issues reported or to ask for the product to be returned to us for inspection. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery.
Delivery charges and estimated timescales are detailed in this website and when you place your order. We make every effort to deliver your order within the estimated timescales communicated to you and in any event within 30 days of the date of order. However carrier and postal delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors.
Risk of loss and damage to your order passes to you on the date when the goods are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
General Terms.
These Product Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish Law and only the Scottish courts will decide any disputes.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will never pass your details on to any third party without your express permission. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.
